Our student became a lecturer of the ELEPHANT project
Alexey Krupnov became the first student of our university to give a lecture in the scientific and educational project "ELEPHANT" ("Solaris. Lectures on science") on March 27.
The project is aimed at developing the interest of schoolchildren in the scientific and technological field and the formation of a positive image of a scientist in society. All participants of the Scientific and Educational Consortium "Ivanovo" are involved in its implementation, more precisely, well-known and young scientists of Ivanovo universities, research institutes, academic institutes.
For schoolchildren facing the choice of a future profession, Alexey Krupnov prepared and conducted a lecture in which he told how cellular communications work, who radiophobes are, and why they are afraid of 5G towers. Let's add that in order to get into the number of speakers, Alexey passed a serious selection, and as he himself noted: "Serious preparation preceded the performance." Our student and two other project participants had to translate their reports into a popular format, and then, under the guidance of experienced mentors, hone their stage speech and public speaking skills. At the end of the event, the Governor of the Ivanovo Region Stanislav Voskresensky met with the young lecturers, who thanked the students for their excellent performances.
