ORMATEK announced the names of the winners of the design competition
On December 21st, at an extended meeting of the Polytechnic Academic Council, held with the participation of partner enterprises, the ORMATEK company announced the names of the winners of the competition for the best uniform design for its employees.
For two months, together with their employer, students of the Ivanovo Polytechnic University solved the problem of what the new uniform for employees of the retail chain of the leading Russian manufacturer of products for sleep and comfortable rest should look like. And this, note, is more than 600 salons operating throughout Russia! ORMATEK Group of Companies is one of the leaders in its industry, and its employees must confirm this in every possible way with their appearance, uniform and style of clothing.
A couple of weeks ago, the university held a public defense of 19 design projects. The company's management carefully reviewed all proposals and noted the authors of the most successful works. The youngest contestant was the first among the winners. This is a sixteen-year-old student of the IVGPU College, Ksenia Rastorgueva. Ksyusha suggested branding the uniform with embroidery and came up with interesting transformable accessories. The management of ORMATEK also liked the T-shirts and sweatshirts from Stefania Novikova. Just not the usual ones that are familiar to everyone, but with the exclusive author’s “ormagraphy”. Our designer came up with this solution under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of TCD named after. N.G. Mizonova Elena Maximova.
A competition participant from the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts named after A.D. was surprised with no less interesting design finds. Kryachkova. Sophomore Daniil Fateev suggested adding intricate pockets to the T-shirts in the form of a stylized bed with a blanket and two pillows!
The leaders of the competition were students supervised by Anastasia Kornilovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Sewing Products Design. Students worked in groups, competently distributing the responsibilities of designers, constructors, and even brand managers. The group, which included Kristina Dementyeva, Anastasia Egorova and Anastasia Ryabova, offered the company a collection of interesting models, not forgetting about people of different weight groups. Anna Novosadova and Liya Zavyalova came up with different color solutions for each model, and master's student Ekaterina Nekrasova chose the classic style of the models and a restrained color scheme of shades of gray with bright orange accents, matching the color of the ORMATEK logo. Catherine's collection was deservedly recognized as the best.
