We do good together
On Volunteer Day, celebrated in Russia on December 5, volunteer students of the Polytechnic University and Belgorod State University held a joint patriotic action.
The initiator was the deputy head of the volunteer department of the Pedagogical Institute of Belgorod State University Anastasia Udovik. Nastya took part in the All-Russian forum "I am a Volunteer" recently held at our university and suggested that the IVSPU volunteer center continue to interact.
As a result, the Polytechnic volunteers found entrepreneurs in Ivanovo who responded to their appeal and provided the children with remnants (lunges) of tissues. Parcels with materials were sent to Belgorod, where volunteers from the local state university held a master class on making an army "dry" shower for the participants of the SWO.
It is worth explaining that a "dry" shower is an individual hygiene kit for military personnel. It includes, among other things, a sponge soaked in a special liquid that does not require rinsing with water, and a flap of soft cloth to remove soapy foam.
"A lot of people came to our master class. We told everyone about the Polytechnic, and where we got the fabric from. Many thanks to the residents of Ivanovo!", the residents of Belgorod wrote with hope for further cooperation.
