A conversation was held with students on the prevention of extremism and terrorism
On November 30, a meeting of Polytechnic students with specialists of the Sparta riot police of the regional Department of the Russian Guard was held, dedicated to the prevention of extremism and terrorism.
Representatives of the Russian Guard showed the children mock-ups of improvised explosive devices and ammunition with significant destructive power. They talked about the characteristic signs of explosive objects. They showed how a dog handler and a dog are involved in the search for explosive devices and explosives. We talked about the types of extremism and the threats it poses, as well as the responsibility for such crimes.
Marina Chekunova, Associate Professor of the Department of Natural Sciences and Technosphere Security, Maxim Sarantsev, Director of the Department of Integrated Security, and Maria Toropova, Assistant Director of IITEGN for Educational Work, also reminded students about the procedure in case of detection of suspicious objects and other emergency situations requiring the intervention of law enforcement agencies.
