ORMATEK accepts the work of young designers
One of the main events of the day, which fell on November 28, was the pitches of 19 design projects developed by students for the ORMATEK company.
The students prepared these short presentations to present to the management of the ORMATEK company sketches of capsule collections of corporate clothing for employees of the retail chain of this leading Russian manufacturer of mattresses, furniture and other goods for comfortable sleep and relaxation. The results of the work of young designers were received by Alexey Shipkov, director of the Moscow retail department of the company, Irina Mural, director of brand marketing, Margarita Barinova, head of business process analysis and HR projects, and Yulia Ponomareva, an employee of the company. Who will receive cash prizes and special valuable gifts will be announced very soon, on the eve of the New Year. And 24 students who took part in a professional competition apply for them. Some of them joined small working groups, while others decided to work on the company's task individually.
Seven graduate students and one undergraduate student of the Department of Sewing Design and thirteen third-year students – wards of Associate professor of the Department of Costume Design and Textiles named after N.G. Mizonova Elena Maximova worked on the creation of branded uniforms - this mandatory attribute of any self-respecting company, within the framework of the discipline "Designing special clothes", which is led by associate Professor Anastasia Kornilovich. The work of their teams was supervised by the heads of departments, Professor Viktor Kuzmichev and Associate Professor Olga Surikova.
Also, our future sewing technologist Sofia Chernogalova and Daniil Fateev, a sophomore at the Novosibirsk University of Architecture, Design and Arts named after A.D. Kryachkov, confidently decided to compete with future designers and designers of the Polytechnic University. But perhaps the bravest contestant was sixteen–year-old Ksyusha Rastorgueva, a freshman at the IVSPU College, for whom participation in a real professional competition along with older contestants is already an achievement and an important line in the portfolio.

The Department of KSHI is Kristina Dementieva, Anastasia Egorova, Anastasia Ryabova, Liya Zavyalova, Victoria Kuznetsova, Ksenia Molodtsova, Anna Novosadova and Ekaterina Nekrasova.
The Department of the N.G. Mizonova DCT is Alena Ermolina, Svetlana Zyablova, Elizaveta Pozdnyakova, Stefania Novikova, Daria Tochieva, Valeria Strunnikova, Ksenia Bazyleva, Evgenia Zaitseva, Dmitry Balebin, Maria Shchanova, Natalia Luzina, Daria Soldatenkova and Anastasia Cherniy.
ORMATEK representatives warmly thanked the students and their mentors for the work done and interesting design solutions, and Elena Vlasova, Head of the Practice and Employment Department, and Alla Novikova, Head of the Information Resources and Communications Department, wished good luck to all the contestants.
