Ivanovo welcomes participants of the All-Russian forum “I am a Volunteer!”

On October 26-29th, Ivanovo Polytechnic University is holding the All-Russian Student Forum “I am a Volunteer!”

The forum is implemented with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and is aimed at the systematic development of volunteerism among students, promotion and popularization of the best volunteering practices in society. At least 300 delegates from all over the country will take part in it.

These are leaders and activists of student volunteer organizations and heads of socially oriented Non-profit Organizations, for whom there will be five platforms thematically related to social, environmental, event, patriotic and legal volunteering. A separate track will be dedicated to mentors of the volunteer movement in universities. Participants will also enjoy a strategic session and a “Dialogue about the main thing” with the leaders of well-known volunteer organizations.

At the end of the forum, participants will determine trends in the further development of the volunteer movement, and will also present their proposals and projects in each thematic area. Thus, participants in the patriotic track will try to expand support measures for military personnel participating in the military military service. As part of the environmental track, forum delegates will work on solving specific case problems. On the social volunteering track, they will gain practical skills in working with people with disabilities, learn where they can talk about volunteer activities and attract the attention of various organizations. Children involved in event volunteering will master techniques for supporting large-scale events, and the legal volunteering track will be devoted to providing legal assistance to various segments of the population.
