ORMATEK will dress its employees in uniforms from designers of the Ivanovo Polytechnic University

The ORMATEK Group of Companies, the largest commercial and industrial complex for the production of sleep goods and bedroom furniture, continues to develop cooperation with the Polytechnic University and has established a new competition.

Last year, ORMATEK became a partner and future employer of graduates of the IVSPU College participating in the implementation of the federal project "Professionalism". This time, the company, which has more than 600 salons around the world, thought about strengthening its brand and decided to entrust the design of a new uniform for employees of its retail chain to Polytechnic students - future designers and designers of clothing.

GC "ORMATEK" already has experience of such collaborations: the company has been cooperating with the Department of Furniture Design of the Moscow State Art and Industrial Academy named after S. G. Stroganov for a long time. But, if the joint work with Stroganovka is expressed in the supervision of diploma projects, then the intention to get as many interesting offers from fashion designers as possible resulted in the idea of a creative contest with a well-thought-out task and a solid prize fund of one hundred thousand rubles!

Our students of the Department of Sewing Design and the Department of Costume and Textile Design are invited to use all their creative potential and demonstrate the knowledge and skills acquired at the university in practice. They will have to design a set of branded fasionable clothing suitable for men and women of all age groups and weight categories. In full compliance with the requirements of the management of the company "ORMATEK" to the quality, appearance and even the cost of the uniform for its employees. The competitive task was announced by Margarita Barinova, the head of the analysis of business processes and HR projects of the company. And to make it easier for young designers to reflect the philosophy and values of the brand, she invited students to visit the production and one of the local trading platforms of the ORMATEK company.
