Our student is a prize–winner of the Olympiad in textile technology
Tatiana Mesheleva, a student of the UK-21 group, took third place at the II Interregional Olympiad on Textile Technology "Green Course of textile and light Industry: technologies, standards, regulation".
The organizing Committee of the Olympiad, held at Kazan National Technological University, noted the high level of training of our student and the merits of her supervisor, Associate Professor of the Department of Materials Science, Commodity Science, Standardization and Metrology Marina Stasheva. Thanks to her efforts, Tatiana Mesheleva easily coped with both the theoretical issues related to eco-design, the development of green technologies and sustainable policy of textile production and consumption, and with a practical case on the development of an environmentally friendly technology for producing textile materials.
In particular, the participants of the Olympiad had to plan and present an enterprise for the production of textile material. In addition to using the principles of sustainable development, Tatiana competently described the suppliers of raw materials and the location of production, thought through logistics, solved the issues of environmental protection and product certification, which earned a high assessment of her project from experts.
