Targeted Learning Meeting

The representatives of municipalities and enterprises of the Ivanovo region, who gathered on June 7th at a round table, focused on the issues of training personnel for the industrial sector of the region and, in particular, the specifics of targeted training of citizens.

The meeting was opened by Vice-Rector for Education Alexey Matrokhin, who recalled that the university is a center of competence in key areas of development of the regional economy (textile and light industry, construction, road and machine-building complexes, housing and communal services, engineering systems of gas and water supply, etc.) and directs all efforts to bring together the interests of the university and organizations of the real sector of the economy. Then Alexey Yuryevich spoke about the possibility of targeted training of citizens at the expense of the federal budget, explained the procedure for concluding a contract on targeted training, which is described in detail on our website, and said that specific proposals for concluding such contracts should be sent to the practice and employment department (op_t@ivgpu.ru).

Maria Ometova, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, spoke about the peculiarities of admission to the university in 2023. Elena Vlasova, Head of the Practice and Employment Department, answered questions about personnel training, and representatives of the basic departments of Eurasia Group, Beads Group, Shuisky Calico, LLC “AKB Steel”, who participated in the seminar, shared their experience of mutually beneficial cooperation with the Polytechnic University, LLC “TDL Textile”, “Istok-Prom” and “Standardplast”.

We add that, along with representatives of municipalities, the meeting was attended by employees of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Ivanovo Administration, representatives of the management of the Ivanovo melange plant, the companies “Krasnaya Vetka”, “Rodniki-Textile”, “Krasnaya Talka”, “Special Textile, Aquarius”, “Ivmashtorg”, “Leader Tex”, “Voentelecom”, “ISMA”, Galich Truck Crane Plant, “Krasny Oktyabr” and “Autoexpress”.
