Work in Ivanovo

Students of the Ivanovo Polytechnic University visited the First interuniversity job fair "Work in Ivanovo" on April 19.

The event was held in the Palace of Game Sports and gathered about 1200 participants – students of universities of the Ivanovo region and 65 leading employers representing the textile, chemical and machine-building industries, agriculture, credit and financial and IT spheres. More than 300 people from the Ivanovo Polytechnic University and the College of the IVSPU visited the fair.

The organizer was the consortium of universities "Ivanovo" and the center "My Business", as well as Career Centers of all universities of the Ivanovo region. Among the participants are Ivanovo companies "Professional", "PC Aquarius", "Neurosoft", GC "Lidertex", "Beads", "Ivanovo Cable Plant", "Springs- textile", "Krasnaya Vetka", "MSG", "DIPOS" and many others. The federals, who opened their units in the Ivanovo region, also deployed their stands. Almost everyone offered favorable conditions and decent wages for young professionals. Many are ready to take on an internship during their studies, offer flexible working hours. So, the company "Professional" promises 40 thousand rubles at the start, "Neurosoft" guarantees programmers and electronics developers a salary of 60 thousand rubles. Shuisky Aquarius is ready to employ engineers with a salary of 60 thousand rubles, and workers - from 37 thousand rubles.

Within the framework of the job fair, master classes on the development of creative thinking, time management, preparation of a successful resume, trainings, open dialogues on various topics were held. Success stories were shared by Neurosoft, RIAT, and other well-known entrepreneurs. The Governor of the Ivanovo region Stanislav Voskresensky and Deputy Chairman of the regional government Yulia Vasilyeva, who attended the event, talked with young people at the stands of the companies.

The head of the region noted that the need for personnel is very high. Last year alone, more than 4.4 thousand jobs were created in the Ivanovo region, not only in Ivanovo, but also in small towns - Kineshma, Kohma, Shuya, in the Rodnikovsky and Yuzhsky districts. In turn, the students shared their thoughts with the governor, noting that, thanks to the fair, it will be easier for them to navigate the labor market.
