Juventa Cultural Center is 30 years old
On March 22, the IVSPU hosted the presentation of a large-scale exhibition "As before, in Juventus ..." dedicated to the 30th anniversary of this cultural center.
Recall that the Juventus Center was created as the core of the cultural university environment at a time when humanization and humanitarization of education were just beginning to be considered as one of the areas of higher school reform and the key to the successful development of society. But even today, in the new system of values, ensuring a balance between the humanitarian and engineering aspects of the educational process has not lost its relevance. A special role in this process belongs to university museums, cultural and exhibition centers. And Juventa is one of such centers, designed to educate young professionals on the values of culture, to turn the knowledge gained at the university into beliefs, principles, norms of behavior.
In the prologue, the guests of the presentation became spectators of the artistic and memorial composition "An Angel flies ...". The author-director was Felix Kagan, the founder and permanent head of the Juventus Center. The participants were students of the SKST-31 group and the artistic director of the folk spiritual music ensemble "Svetilen" Dmitry Garkavi.
The presentation of the exhibition was attended by well-known cultural figures of our city, who were closely associated with the Juventus Center in different years and took part in its numerous creative projects. The former rector of the Textile Academy, Vladimir Zryukin, spoke with greetings and memories. Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Educational Work of the Polytechnic Alexey Matrokhin announced a warm letter of thanks from the Chairman of the Ivanovo City Duma A.S. Kuzmichev.
