The rector of IVSPU Evgeny Rumyantsev visited the advanced Tula textile company

On February 20, a delegation of Ivanovo Polytechnic University headed by Rector Evgeny Rumyantsev visited Adventum Technologies, a resident of the technopark Plastic, located in the city of Uzlovaya, Tula region.

In Russia, Adventum Technologies is the exclusive license holder and the only manufacturer of aramid fabrics and knitted materials using the fire-resistant Proban® technology. The materials are used in the manufacture of overalls and shoes, underwear, hoodies, sweaters, uniforms for military personnel. Since the beginning of the year, the company has increased its output by 40%, and, as technical director Olga Lobanova said, they plan to increase production capacity to 2.3 million square meters of fabric per year.

In turn, the rector of the Ivanovo Polytechnic Evgeny Rumyantsev spoke about the development of the textile industry in the Ivanovo region, the federal project "Professionalism", in which the region and our university became a participant, and the problems of training specialists for modern finishing industries. Alexey Matrokhin, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Educational Work, and Elena Vlasova, Head of the Practice and Employment Department, who accompanied the rector, took part in the negotiations with the management of the enterprise.
