Visiting the Polytechnic - Siberian Design Center

On January 17, the Ivanovo Polytechnic hosted a meeting between Rector Evgeny Rumyantsev and the head of the Department of Costume and Textile Design named after N.G. Mizonova Olga Surikova with the director of the REC "Siberian Design Center" Viktor Klimenko and his colleagues (Tomsk).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the perspectives for the development of design and fashion in the Ivanovo region and Siberia. Guests from Tomsk got acquainted with the educational process at our university and the areas of work of the Textile and Light Industry Competence Center, visited the new photo studio and demo room of the Center, where samples of Ivanovo fabrics are presented, as well as the exhibition "Design Code", opened in the Museum and Exhibition Center in connection with the 40th anniversary of the N.G. Mizonova Department of Costume and Textile Design.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to conclude a cooperation agreement between Ivanovo State Polytechnic University and Tomsk State University in areas related with professional and additional training for the creative industries of Russia.
