Students visited the exhibition "Firefighters in the Service"

The exposition on the history of fire fighting in Ivanovo and Ivanovo-Voznesensk was prepared by the Ivanovo Museum named after I.I. D.G. Burylin and the State Archives of the Ivanovo Region.

Unique photographs and documents illustrating the historical path of Ivanovo firefighters, complemented by modern items from active fire and rescue units, tell the story of Sovetskaya Street, formerly Negorela. More than a hundred years ago, it was here, opposite the Meshchanskaya Council, that the first city fire department began to work. She continues to be on this street today. At the opening of the exhibition, together with the teachers of the EN&TB department Natalia Prorokova and Anastasia Krainova, students of groups NI-41, TB-41, TB-31 visited. In the near future, the guys may have to develop fire-retardant materials, and the exhibition “tells” about who the first Ivanovo firefighters were, what equipment they used, how their service and equipment have changed over the past years.
