“MAYAK” (My Bright Career Academy) for present and future textile workers
On October 26th, the Ivanovo Polytechnic University hosted a career guidance forum "MAYAK" for textile enterprises and students of specialized areas of training.
The guests, students of the Institute of Textile Industry and Fashion and the College of ISPU, who have entered new areas of training this year within the framework of the federal project "Professionalism", were welcomed by the rector of the university Evgeny Rumyantsev, vice-rector for educational activities and educational work Alexei Matrokhin and head of the practice and employment department Elena Vlasova. She introduced the enterprises - participants of the forum, and noted that our university is expanding the boundaries of cooperation, and its “MAYAK” highlights new partners outside the Ivanovo region.
Thus, Alexei Moskvin, General Director of the Yaroslavl “KORD” Plant, and Natalya Seliverstova, Head of the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department, became the guests of this forum. Yulia Mayorova, the head of the personnel department, and Anna Golitsyna, the head of the art workshop, spoke about the oldest enterprise in the Vladimir region, “Avangard” LLC, located in Yuryev-Polsky.
The Ivanovo region was represented by HR business partner Yulia Efimova from “Orma Group”, head of the personnel management department of the Ivanovo “Melange Plant” Tatyana Eidelman, deputy general director for personnel of JSC “Rodniki-Textile” Svetlana Chastukhina. All enterprises invited the students of the Polytechnic University to excursions and practices with subsequent employment. Everywhere in the state, our graduates are already successfully working, and young specialists will be welcome - technologists, designers, quality controllers, equipment maintenance foremen.
At the end of the meeting, an employee of the Practice and Employment Department, Elena Kuklina, acquainted students with the possibilities of the Facultetus digital platform for finding interesting training courses and enterprises for employment.
