IVSPU Scientists At The Scientific Conference In Tambov

Professor Varvara Rumyantseva and graduate Mikhail Korinchuk took part in the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Sustainable development of the region: architecture, construction, transport"

The conference was held on September 21-22 at Tambov State Technical University. The organizers identified the achievement in technological sovereignty of Russia in the face of global challenges as the key direction of the forum, dedicating it to the memory of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeny Chernyshov and the 30th anniversary of the Department of "Construction of Buildings and Structures". The participants represented universities and various organizations from Moscow, Tomsk, Voronezh, Tambov, Tula, St. Petersburg, Saransk, Vladivostok, Tver, Rostov-on-Don, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Novosibirsk, Lipetsk, Minsk.

Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Structural Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Varvara Rumyantseva made a plenary report "The theory of controlling materials and structures corrosion resistance potential. The state and development of the problem". Mikhail Korinchuk, a second-year student of the Department of Natural Sciences and Technosphere Safety, presented a report "Obtaining light concrete (arbolites) using recycled materials" at one of the sections.
