Knowledge Day at the Polytechnic University

On September 1st, Ivanovo Polytechnic University met more than 800 yesterday's schoolchildren who became first-year students of the university and its college, including the first students of the Professionalism, with a series of festive events.

At the solemn lines, the rector of the ISPU Evgeny Rumyantsev, the directors of the institutes, the director of the College of the ISPU Andrey Nikonov wished them success in their studies. With the beginning of the new academic year, the youth and the staff of teachers and staff were congratulated by the chairman of the Committee for Youth Policy, Physical Culture and Sports of the Administration of the City of Ivanovo Igor Baranov and the First Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Ivanovo Region - State Secretary Olga Sheremetyeva.

The first-year students who came to the main building of the university that day were also waiting for the program “Hi, Polytech!”, a quest acquaintance with the university, a “parade” of departments, an exciting oath of a freshman and the traditional presentation of student cards. The evening ended with a student party with a disco, demonstration performances of dance teams and a fashion show.

This day turned out to be no less eventful at the College of the ISPU, where the grand opening of the educational and production cluster, which is being formed within the framework of the federal project "Professionality" in the direction of "Light Industry", took place.

College freshmen are definitely lucky and made the right choice. This thesis was voiced in the welcoming speech of the vice-rector for educational activities Alexei Matrokhin, and representatives of regional clothing companies, long-term partners of the university, who became members of the cluster, agreed on the same. Representatives of Liderteks, IstokProm, BISER, Proteks not only congratulated college students on the start of the new academic year, but will also take a direct part in the implementation of new, shortened in time, but rich in practical training programs of Professionalism.
