Polytech celebrates the Day of the Industrial Designer and invites you to get this profession
The International Day of Industrial Design is celebrated all over the world on June 29. This is a celebration of those who put their hand to the appearance of all industrial goods that we see in everyday life.
By this professional date, the host of the local news channel Viktor Lomoskov met in the studio of GTRK-Ivanovo with a young talented designer, teacher of the Department of Costume and Textile Design named after N.G. Mizonova IVSPU Ksenia Demyanenko.
More detailed:
Ksenia told the audience about her participation in the recently concluded Moscow Fashion Week and the positive feedback received from fashion experts to her author's coat collection, as well as to graduates of the department who are making a career in the capital and the wonderful collection of the famous Russian fashion designer Victoria Andrianova, created from the fabrics of the Shuisky Calico factory. In addition, she recalled the bright defense of theses by graduates of the department this year, held at the Polytechnic last week.
The prints for fabrics, collections of children's, women's and men's clothing presented by the students not only impressed everyone with interesting design solutions, a sense of style and color harmony, but most importantly – they are fully adapted for mass production, since they are made according to orders exclusively from Ivanovo enterprises. Many models have already been put into production and can be purchased on marketplaces. Something from student developments is still in the queue of manufacturers. But all of them will add to the portfolio of young designers, demonstrating the high professional level and broad career opportunities of Polytech graduates.
