IVGPU College became a participant of the federal project "Professionality"
As a result of the competitive selection, 70 Russian colleges will receive subsidies for the creation of educational and production centers (clusters) within the framework of the federal project "Professionality" of the national project "Education". Ivanovo Polytechnic College is one of them.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, 100 applications from 54 Russian regions were received for participation in the federal project. The pilot industries were: nuclear industry, railway transport, metallurgy, light industry, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining industries, aircraft and shipbuilding, forestry, oil and gas and IT industries. The colleges included in the project will receive 100 million rubles each for the modernization of the material and technical base.
Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister: “Taking into consideration the significant increase in the number of students entering colleges in recent years, a new system of personnel training will be built within the framework of the “Professionality” project. The implementation of the project will provide students with the opportunity to study at colleges that meet modern requirements, with teachers and masters who have professional skills. The training time will be reduced. Students can acquire the skills and competencies needed for a future employer, and the majority of the program will be devoted to practical training. Enterprises, as customers of personnel, will receive qualified workers trained at the request of the industry, possessing up-to-date practical skills and ready to immediately start working.”
Let's add that in the Ivanovo region, the Shuisky multidisciplinary college also became a participant in the federal project "Professionality". So, in our region, which is the flagship of the domestic textile industry, not one, but two educational and production centers (clusters) will appear at once - in Ivanovo and Shuya.
