Competence Marathon started at the University

March is the time of graduation qualification works defense by Correspondence Department students. Students of Materials Science, Commodity Science, Standardization and Metrology Departments were the first to successfully defend their theses.

Six students of the direction 38.03.07 Commodity Science successfully presented the results of their graduation theses and received excellent marks. The topics of the graduation qualification works are aimed at solving problems in the field of improving the quality of products and improving the assortment policy in modern economic conditions. All works were carried out at the request of enterprises. Some of the results obtained are already being used in practice - diploma papers are accompanied by acts of implementing the results in the trade and technological processes of enterprises, and graduates are already working in the chosen field of professional activity.

Thus, the diploma work of Irina Voronina (supervisor - Associate Professor E.A. Sotskova) is devoted to the study of methods for assessing the quality of garments in the Gloria Jeans Store Chain. Anna Mochalova, Alena Solntseva and Diana Nikiforova under the guidance of Associate Professor E.N. Vlasova and Professor N.A. Gruzintseva studied the assortment, consumer properties and demand for various groups of cosmetic products. Anastasia Volkova under the guidance of Associate Professor M.A. Stasheva assessed the sales technology of the online store and the consumer properties of the tools of LLC TULS.RUS LLC, Ivanovo, and Anna Butsanova conducted her research on the basis of Sleeping Systems LLC, Ivanovo, where she works as a specialist in the technical control department. Her professional knowledge of the material was especially noted by the chairman of the SEC, Vadim Sidorin.
