IVGPU - on the pages of the new industry magazine "Legprom Review"
“Education by need or by necessity?” - such a question was put in the title of an article by Evgeny Rumyantsev, rector of the IVGPU, in the second issue of the industry magazine "Legprom Review", published in December for the exhibition "Safety and Labor Protection" (BIOT).
The exhibition was held for the 25th time and brought together manufacturers of personal protective equipment, overalls and footwear. On the pages of the magazine, prepared for the authoritative forum, the largest light industry enterprises engaged in this market segment were presented. Vladimir Breus, a columnist from Ivanovo, examined in detail the novelties of the refractory fabric sector and determined the prospects for the development of the Russian market in this direction. Journalist Anna Semenova formulated the main characteristics of the Ivanovo region as a leading manufacturer of workwear - more than 40% of all manufactured products come from our region.
At the same time, leading companies operating in the workwear market are actively cooperating with the Ivanovo Polytechnic University. BISER Group of Companies and Istok-Prom LLC have opened basic departments and conduct many career guidance events in cooperation with the university. But the rector of the IVSPU considers the work of the Competence Center for textile and light industry and the involvement of students in the creation of clothing collections from fabrics of industrial partners to be the most effective form of interaction. “Training and professional development of personnel should be carried out according to the needs of enterprises, through targeted and dual training, and this is a change in the very paradigm of mass public education,” writes Evgeny Rumyantsev in his article.
