Polytech Sums up the Results and Makes Plans for the Future
On December 27, the Polytech summed up the results of the year and set new goals. Representatives of enterprises - partners of the university - were invited to evaluate the results achieved, to set a goal to take part in new projects or to become members of the University Board of Trustees.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Shuiskiye Chintz Factory, the Avtokran and Aquarius Plants, the Galich Truck Crane Plant, the Termopol Nonwovens Plant, the Ivanovo Vodokanal, the AKB Stal, Ventmarket, Eurasia Group Companies , "CSU", "Standartplast", "Orma Group", the Association "Self-Regulatory Organization" Ivanovo Association of Builders ", etc.
The rector of IVSPU Evgeny Rumyantsev made a report on the results of the University's activities for 2021 and new major projects. Addressing entrepreneurs, he urged the business community to more actively participate in joint applied research with scientists, hold various scientific events, create new educational and production sites and collaborate. Emphasizing the particular importance of the University Board of Trustees in the implementation of the outlined plans, Yevgeny Vladimirovich officially invited the entrepreneurs to join it and noticed that participation in the work of this collegial body, along with providing comprehensive assistance, gives the right to develop recommendations for other management bodies of the university.
At the end of the meeting, Agreements on cooperation were signed between the Ivanovo Polytech, the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Textile and Garment Industry of the Ivanovo Region and new business partners of the University. These are enterprises that have expressed their readiness to participate in a special Project Intensive, during which Ivanovo sewing companies will work on the creation of fashionable and contemporary clothing collections in tandems with the finalists of the Fashion 4.0 - Evolution All-Russian Festival recently held in Ivanovo. Mentoring and expert support for the project teams will be provided by the leading lecturers of the IVSPU.
Young designers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Izhevsk and, of course, Ivanovo will work on the development of fashion brands in our region, helping manufacturers to catch consumer demands and fashion trends, generously sharing their creative and fresh ideas. In return, they will receive three months of cool mentoring and unique experience in real production conditions. The partners of the young designers will be the companies of the Trading House “VIOTEX”, “Mercury”, “Topless Rus”, “ZAVI”, “IvanovoTextile Company”, individual entrepreneurs Bakhvalova E.T., Levchenko V.A. and Kharuzin K.B.
It should be added that the management and specialists of TH "VIOTEX" and the company "Mercury" have previously contacted the Competence Center of the Textile and Light Industry of the Polytechnic University and have been satisfied with the results of the joint work. Being in the status of permanent business partners and having signed cooperation agreements, they became together with new companies, the Polytech and the Industry Association, the participants in the project "From Local Fashion Brands to the Image and Success of Russia", supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. The results of the project will be presented in March of the coming year, and the project teams will have an acquaintance and interesting creative work ahead.
