The program of the SMARTEX forum has been published
On October 12-13th, Ivanovo will host the XXIV International Scientific and Industrial Forum SMARTEX. The program of events can be found on our website.
It is worth noting that this year the SMARTEX ISPF will be held under the sign of the memory of Professor Anatoly Kuzmich Izgorodin. It was he who, twenty-four years ago, for the first time summoned fellow scientists to the scientific seminar of the same name, from which our forum "grew". Over the years, in addition to the Ivanovo Polytechnic University, the Institute of Solutions Chemistry named after G.A. Krestov of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lomonosov Moscow State University (Faculty of Arts) and the Kosygin Russian State University (Technology. Design. Art.), Ivanovo became a meeting place for scientists, inventors, entrepreneurs, students - theorists and practitioners who are ready to talk about how new projects are being implemented and outline plans for joint work. Moreover, every year the forum provides a certain cut of the scientific potential and the most acute problems of the domestic light industry.
Without breaking tradition, this year the SMARTEX forum will again bring together representatives of the industry scientific community, simultaneously anticipating and, in fact, complementing the program of the All-Russian Industry Forum "Manufactura 4.0" held by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Russia in Ivanovo, which will begin its work literally on October 14th.
The main topic of SMARTEX will be the issues of import substitution, the creation and development of its own raw material base for the textile industry, since it is on the solution of this most important and rather problematic task that the country's stable position in the domestic and foreign markets depends. Proceeding from this, as well as taking into account the main challenges of the decade: the transition to carbon neutrality and a "green" economy, the intensive development of information technologies, the emergence of new materials, scientists and industrialists are expected to make a correct, scientifically substantiated choice of priorities and create groundwork in the areas that able to "shoot", or the risks that may arise.
Representatives of leading Russian scientific schools, industry unions and associations, enterprises, support institutions, and industry media are invited to discuss this agenda during the panel discussion scheduled for October 12th. In the context of the Strategy for the Development of the Textile Industry of the Russian Federation until 2035, the participants will consider the state and prospects for the development of production in Russia of chemical fibers and threads, assess the possibilities of multiple processing of nonwovens and their raw materials. Residents of Ivanovo will present projects related to the creation on the territory of the region of a center for deep processing of flax and other bast crops, organization of the production of regenerated fiber from recycled textile raw materials, will demonstrate samples of fundamentally new flax-containing fabrics with unique physical, mechanical and consumer characteristics. The issues of financial support and staffing of the industry will not be left unattended. In particular, this thematic block will present the results of the work of the Competence Center for the textile and light industry, created on the basis of the Ivanovo Polytechnic about a year ago.
The final of the All-Russian youth scientific competition "LEGPROMNAUKA" and the School of Young Scientists, aimed at forming a community of novice researchers around the priority areas of the industry's development, will conclude the work of the forum. Open lectures, substantively related to the main topic of the forum, await students and postgraduates, and the contestants who presented the best technological and design solutions for individual production problems will receive awards from the Official industrial partner of the MPNF SMARTEX - the "Termopol" company.
We add that you can take part in the events of the forum both offline and online, but only registered participants will be able to get a link, follow it and join colleagues. For everyone else, live online broadcasts will be organized on the IVSPU website and on the YouTube channel.
