The Competence Center of the Textile and Light Industry invites you to trend sessions
Ivanovo designers and manufacturers of textiles and clothing who want to find out what will be fashionable and will appeal to customers in the next seasons, the regional Center "My Business" and the Ivanovo Polytechnic Institute invite to the trend session "Assortment planning based on the analysis of fashion trends".
The trend sessions will be held in two streams: on November 3 and December 10. The speakers will be employees of the Competence Center of the Textile and Light Industry of IVSPU and invited experts who turn to special world agencies for information, such as WGSN or Carlin Group, who are engaged exclusively in predicting fashion no worse than stock analysts and know how to catch a trend that they will definitely buy.
On November 3, the head of the Department of Sewing Products Design of IVSPU, Professor Viktor Kuzmichev and Associate Professor of the Department of Costume Design and Textiles named after N. G. Mizonova Elena Maksimova will give an overview of fashion trends in women's, men's and children's clothing. And the next trend session will be held on December 10 and will be devoted to fashion trends in the design of fabrics for clothing, bed linen and home textiles. Maxim Krylov, a leading designer of the Ivanovo company PROTEX, and Maya Kuznetsova, a candidate of art history, associate professor of the St. Petersburg University of Industrial Technologies and Design, will tell about fashion trends, and at the same time demonstrate how they are reflected in the crocs of fabrics and ready – made collections of participants of the All-Russian FASHION 4.0-EVOLUTION Festival.
Participants of the events will learn why it is impossible to focus only on what people are buying at the moment or on the publications of armies of bloggers like "five trends that everyone should know about", how serious trend analytics "works", and what global global trends and emerging trends will actually allow not only to keep "their" buyer, but also to identify assortment niches that need to be occupied today in order to dominate them in the future.
For those who will not be able to take part in person, an online broadcast will be organized, and after classes there will be recordings and presentations with examples of fashionable silhouettes, style solutions, prints, color combinations and materials. In addition, until December 15, each registered participant will be able to contact our experts for individual advice and get answers to his questions related to the practical interpretation of fashion forecasts.
