Polytech premiere at the largest international exhibition

At the international fashion exhibition CPM - Collection Premiere Moscow taking place in Moscow, the stand of the Department of Costume and Textile Design named after N.G. Mizonova.

For the first time, together with more than 700 brands of designer clothes and lingerie from 20 countries, the stand of our university presents diploma projects of Polytech students and creative works of a young Ivanovo designer, teacher of the VCT department Ksenia Demyanenko, together with a bright extraordinary design of the exposition reflecting the level of skill of the pupils of the Ivanovo school design of textiles and clothing.

Of particular interest were the clothing models created by Ksenia and repeatedly awarded with the highest awards of such professional competitions as Russian Silhouette, Admiralty Needle and PROfashion Masters, in particular. It was thanks to the victory in this competition and the invitation of Galina Istomina, the curator of young CPM designers, that the department's debut at this fashionable platform became possible.

In addition, as Olga Surikova, Head of the VCT Department, noted: “Participation in this largest international exhibition made it possible to communicate directly with manufacturers, distributors and retailers from different countries, attend expert lectures and master classes from leading market experts and join the new CPM project - fashion connect ". This project aggregates information about educational institutions, design contests and service for job search, job posting, recruiting and sales agents. The demand for graduates of the department outside our region is huge, and manufacturers are ready to replicate many of the works presented at the stand on an industrial scale.
