Polytech and the Mercury company are “for” membrane technologies
At the “Textile Membrane Technologies” forum held at our university on May 29, the Mercury company presented new membrane products, and the department of garment design presented samples of clothing using them.
Graduate students Kristina Dementyeva, Liya Zavyalova, Olga Grigorieva and their mentors Anastasia Kornilovich, Irina Zhukova, Albina Malinskaya worked on the models. In the exposition that accompanied the forum, they presented a men's insulated coat, a suit for the search and rescue organization "Lisa Alert" and four samples of protective clothing. All models are made using membranes from the Mercury company - the first Russian-made membrane materials that have high vapor permeability and perfectly protect against moisture penetration into the product.
