The Istok-Prom company has launched a cutting complex
On March 22, specialists from Ivanovo Polytechnic University visited the Istok-Prom company, where, like at our university, an automated cutting complex was launched.
The new production site will now provide an accurate cut for all Istok-Prom enterprises located in small towns of the Ivanovo region. According to Chairman of the Board of Directors Sergey Roshkovan and CEO of the company Artem Roshkovan, 40 jobs will be created in the region, and the cost of uniforms and special clothing produced by the company will significantly decrease.
Yulia Vasilyeva, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ivanovo Region, and numerous partners of the enterprise got acquainted with the work of the cutting complex. Ivanovo Polytechnic University was represented by Alexey Matrokhin, Vice-Rector for Educational and Educational Activities, Elena Vlasova, Head of the Department of Practice and Employment, Viktor Kuzmichev, Head of the Department of Higher School of Economics, Associate Professor Anastasia Kornilovich and Olga Meteleva, Head of the Scientific Research Center for Sewing Technology.
During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between our university and the company. Let us remind you that the basic department of Istok-Proma has already been established at the Polytechnic University, and the department of KSHI is implementing a number of projects with the company. So, students Anna Novosadova and Liya Zavyalova are developing experimental clothing collections for the company, which will be available in June, at the defense of final qualifying works. Students - future designers undergo training and production practices at Istok-Prome, employees of the enterprise regularly hold meetings with teachers and master classes for students. The document signed today opens up new opportunities for cooperation between the university and the enterprise, this time within the framework of the Professionalism project.
