The success of the country's best choir is partly due to the work of the Polytech

According to the results of the All-Russian Choral Festival, the concert choir of the Zhukovsky Boys Choral School under the direction of Evgeny Bobrov was awarded a Diploma of the first degree and recognized as the best children's choir in the country. Stage costumes for our young countrymen were created by our students.

The award ceremony and gala concert took place on December 9 in Moscow, where the Russia exhibition is currently operating. More than a thousand academic children's and adult choirs took part in the qualifying stages during the year. In the final, our choir school's rivals were 15 children's and 22 adult groups.

In order for the talented Ivanovo vocalists to make a good impression at this festival, Anastasia Kornilovich, associate professor of the Department of Sewing Products Design, Tatyana Ponomareva, technologist of the Academy design studio, and Istok-Prom specialists designed and manufactured sets consisting of a vest and trousers for them.

"Manufacturing" and production of stage costumes is one of the activities. Only this year we "dressed" the choir "White Roses" of the village of Shekshovo in Gavrilovo-Posadsky district, the ensemble "Kupel" of the Ivanovo Music School, the dance and singing group "Rus" from Shuya. Both students and teachers like such practical and creative work," said the head of the department, Professor Viktor Kuzmichev.
