Students of the Polytechnic University are expected at the leading enterprises of the region

Within the framework of the project "Design of your Future", students of the Polytechnic University have an additional opportunity to visit textile and clothing enterprises in the region, choose a place of practice or internship, and possibly find their "dream company".

On the route "More than an excursion", future technologists, designers, quality management specialists are waiting for at least five leading Ivanovo enterprises with which the university has established strong partnerships. The first trip took place on September 21. The students went to the city of Furmanov, where they visited two enterprises at once: the textile company "RUSSIAN HOUSE" and the company "FABERLIK FASHION FACTORY".

Recall that the holding "RUSSIAN HOUSE" includes Furmanovskaya weaving factory No. 1, the finishing factory "Red October" in the village of Kamenka in the Vichugsky district and its own sewing workshops. These are full-cycle enterprises that produce everything from harsh fabrics to ready-made garments. The company is constantly developing, modernizing equipment, mastering various types of finishes, producing new types of fabrics. Andrey Lakhtin, the head of the project office of the enterprise, told the students about this and invited them to work.

Maria Kudryavtseva met students of the directions "Technology and design of textile products", "Commodity Science" and "Quality Management" at FABERLIK FASHION FACTORY. From her, the students learned that the company has been operating in Furmanov since 2017 and specializes in the production of knitwear. Today more than 200 people work here, and the assortment includes turtlenecks, hoodies, thermal underwear, home clothes. Associate Professor of the Scientific and Educational Center "Competence Center of Textile and Light Industry" Irina Barabanshchikova, employees of the Department of Practice and Employment Anastasia Krainova and Elena Kuklina drew the attention of the guys to how enterprises ensure the quality of products and the design of finished products.
