IVSPU joined the “Digital Departments” project
Ivanovo Polytechnic students can gain new IT competencies as part of the “Digital Departments” project. This became possible thanks to the entry of IVSPU into the consortium of universities of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and the initiative of two ministries at once.
For reference
“Digital Departments” is a joint project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. It involves universities implementing the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership programs. For students of partner universities, teachers from these universities will conduct online courses, with the help of which young people will be able to significantly expand their competencies or acquire new qualifications in the field of information technology.
Thus, in 2023, the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University will launch ten additional professional retraining programs at once. For IT students this is:
- Development of digital solutions based on 1C technologies
- IT consulting
- Information Systems Architect
- Project and product management in the development of digital services
- Linux system and network administration
- Application software developer in Python
- Digital Marketing and Social Media
Programs for students of other areas of training:
- Development of digital solutions based on 1C technologies for non-IT,
- Python. Data analysis in marketing,
- Programming for “BIM” platforms.
The implementation of the programs provides for a hybrid format: lecture material - independently and online, practical classes - in the form of webinars with the participation of employees of organizations in the real sector of the economy and expert practitioners. Upon completion of training, students will receive a diploma of professional retraining. To become a listener, you need to be a student at IVSPU and undergo training in bachelor’s areas of at least the second year, specialty in at least the third year, or in master’s areas not related to the IT field.
