The results of the "Polytechnic of the Future" competition were summed up

At the IVSPU on April 2, at the Open Day of the Polytechnic, the winners of the Interregional competition among students of secondary educational and professional institutions "POLYTECHNIC of the FUTURE" were awarded.

The competition is held jointly with the Department of Education of the Ivanovo region and is aimed at promoting professional orientation, identifying and developing the abilities and talents of young people. This year, 181 people took part in it – these are schoolchildren of grades 8-11 of schools, lyceums, gymnasiums and college students of the Ivanovo region, as well as Chuvashia, Crimea, Vologda, Novosibirsk, Stavropol and Kursk, who presented their competitive works in 18 thematic sections.

This year, for the first time, an engineering track with tasks of increased complexity from the industrial partners of our university was included in the competition program. So, the management of the Galich crane plant noted the work of Veronika Ykladova from school No. 20 in Shui on the topic "Development of a device using a sensor to measure the rates of chemical reactions" (1st place) and the work of a student of the Ivanovo Polytechnic College Andrey Pozdin "Application of the Pascal principle in real life" (2nd place). The representative of the Aquarius company Olga Patrikeeva presented the prize for the first place to Nikita Muravyov, a student of the Ivanovo Lyceum No. 6, who prepared for the competition the work "Automatic regulation of the intensity of artificial lighting of workplaces in office premises when the illumination changes depending on the time of day and weather conditions".

All the winners of the competition, who won prizes in each thematic area, were awarded diplomas, which are taken into account when entering the IVSPU, and valuable prizes. The awarding ceremony was held by Alexey Matrokhin, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Educational Work of the Ivanovo Polytechnic University, and Elena Vlasova, Head of the Practice and Employment Department.
