The Winners of the Youth Competition LEGPROMNAUKA Were Named

On October 7, the XXV Anniversary International Scientific and Technical Forum SMARTEX ended with the summing up and awards ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian competition LEGPROMNAUKA.

In the nomination "Works with a high potential for commercialization and implementation", the first place and a prize from the Russian company "Termopol" - the official partner of the forum, was awarded to the leading specialist of LLC "NAVTEX" and, at the same time, a student of the Ivanovo Chemical-Technological University Olga Krotkova for the work on assessing the impact the mercerization process on the quality indicators of the fabric, which includes cotton, linen and viscose. The second place diploma was given to another student of ISCTU, Rodion Grishin, for the study of metal-containing tissues with the effect of IR remission. Third place went to Anna Zhukova from the Ivanovo Polytechnic University for her contribution to the collective development of the technology for preparing cottonized flax fibers for spinning and weaving.

In the nomination "Original Research Papers", the prizes will be distributed as follows: the winner's diploma and a cash prize went to Ekaterina Kudryavtseva from St. Petersburg University of Industrial Technologies and Design. Experts appreciated her research on antibacterial textile materials modified with bicomponent metal nanoparticles. Elizaveta Korobova, also representing the St. Petersburg scientific school, was awarded a diploma for the third place with the work on the topic "Evaluation of the photocatalytic properties of interference pigments based on hybrid oxides." The second place in this nomination went to Denis Blinov from IVSPU, who reported on the results of studying the effect of metal-containing nanoparticles on the properties of a polypropylene thread with photocatalytic properties of interference pigments based on hybrid oxides”.
