Polytech visiting the company "Technoplast"

The company specializes in the production of buttons, buckles, fixers, fastexes and other types of sewing accessories. This is a family business of young Ivanovo entrepreneurs Natalia and Dmitry Filippov.

Despite their youth, Dmitry and Natalia, who, by the way, is a graduate of our university, have been engaged in this business for almost 20 years. Having passed the "fire and water", today this small enterprise firmly occupies its niche in the market, providing accessories to hundreds of manufacturers of workwear from Ivanov and other cities.

The company produces 10 million buttons per month alone! Full-cycle production includes two casting workshops and a finished product warehouse. Automated equipment is installed in the workshops. The raw materials are exclusively domestic. The rector of the Polytechnic University Evgeny Rumyantsev, the head of the Department of Practice and Employment Elena Vlasova and the head of the Department of Information Resources and Communications Alla Novikova were convinced: recycled polymers are used here, which reduces the burden on the environment, and the cost of production is significantly reduced due to polyrecycling - multiple recycling of waste.

In the near future, entrepreneurs have plans to expand the factory and the range of products. Moreover, a couple of intelligent students are waiting for a pre-graduate internship with further employment (for vacancies that are very attractive in terms of salary), and entrepreneurs are ready to present their products at the demonstration stands of the Polytechnic Textile and Light Industry Competence Center. If orders are received from Ivanovo fashion brands, we are ready here for the release of branded, "branded" accessories – faces and the cheapest form of advertising for any sewing company. In a word, this is the window of opportunity for companies such as Technoplast and its clients.
