Ivanovo Polytech has successfully proved itself in the textile industry
Visitors were offered a large package of services of the Competence Center of the Textile and Light Industry and favorable terms of cooperation, demonstrated the potential of young Ivanovo designers on models from new industrial collections, received feedback.
The 57th Federal Wholesale Fair TEKSTILLEGPROM is the largest and most popular exhibition in Russia and abroad, it worked from February 22 to 24, and all this time a well-coordinated team, already having experience working with industrial customers, worked with textile and equipment manufacturers at the stand of the Ivanovo Polytechnic University, where the Competence Center operates. Employees of the Department of Information Resources and Communications Mansur Lutfullin, Nikita and Natalia Onipchenko, associate professor of the Department of KSHI Anastasia Kornilovich and student Daria Borzova went to Moscow. The work of the stand-up staff to promote the university's services in the professional community was complemented by a business meeting, which was held by the Rector of IVSPU Evgeny Rumyantsev on the last day of the exhibition.
Evgeny Vladimirovich outlined his point of view on the role and functionality of the industry Competence Center. Together with Galina Rtishcheva, General Director of Tekstilexpo JSC, Valentina Kuznetsova, Editor-in-Chief of RIA Moda News Agency, Nadezhda Kornilova, head of the REC in areas related to the technology of sewing products and the technology and design of textile products, and other participants of the discussion, he discussed topical issues related to the staffing of the industry. In particular, they talked about real design projects for the development of regional fashion brands, an applied master's degree in which company executives could study, focusing on certain "high-tech" or "digital" areas of higher education and the need to reduce the time for training workers, provided that the intellectual, material and financial resources of the university and potential employers are combined.
And students and teachers of the Institute of Textile Industry and Fashion who visited TEKSTILLEGPROM had the opportunity to get acquainted with the assortment of modern fabrics, accessories and technological equipment presented by 350 manufacturers from 28 regions of Russia and 17 countries of the world. Future textile workers were particularly interested in equipment for the production of knitwear, printers for printing textiles, sewing equipment, textile waste processing plants.
The General Director of the exhibition Galina Rtischeva, who invited the Ivanovo Polytechnic University to participate, noted the importance of its presence among the exhibitors, since it allows meeting the needs of entrepreneurs for training and services, sometimes unique in its kind. The representatives of the university who worked at the stand were also convinced that, despite the high market competition, interest in the proposals of the Competence Center is gaining momentum. Companies with the widest geography, including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, are interested in short-term educational programs and courses for their employees. Many people are interested in fashion design. Manufacturers of knitted suits, medical and workwear, clothing for outdoor activities, fishing and tourism are ready to use the service. There are invitations to work for designers, design assistants, technologists and designers. Contacts received at the exhibition and initial agreements after their processing will bear fruit in the form of new orders, training contracts, vacancies for graduates and mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
