On November 7, the rector of the Ivanovo Polytechnic Institute, Evgeny Rumyantsev, had a meeting with foreign students studying at our university.

First of all, Evgeny Vladimirovich thanked the foreign students for choosing Russia as the place of their studying, and then asked about their adaptation in Ivanovo and our university. Along the way, he noted that for foreign citizens who entered the IVSPU the university is implementing the International Polytech Program for the Development of Interethnic Interaction.

In response, the students noted that thanks to the numerous events holding within the framework of this program they managed to find new friends very quickly, as well as get to know the city where they will have to live and study for several years.

Taking this opportunity, foreign students also discussed certain everyday problems, issues of organizing leisure and sports activities, and also expressed a number of initiatives regarding their studies at the university. Having received approval from the head of the university, the students thanked Evgeny Vladimirovich for an open dialogue and willingness to support them in the process of being included in the international student environment of the Polytechnic University.
