Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation visited Ivanovo Polytech University
On Thursday, May 20, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Bocharov visited our university.
Oleg Bocharov and Lyudmila Dmitrieva, Deputy Prime Minister of the Ivanovo Region, who accompanied him, were met by the Rector of IVSPU Evgeny Rumyantsev. During the visit, the distinguished guest visited the working areas of the Center of Competence of the Textile and Light Industry, where he carefully got acquainted with samples of cotton, mixed, linen and membrane fabrics, as well as knitted fabrics produced by Ivanovo enterprises – industrial partners of the university, and clothing models created from these materials by students of the Polytechnic University, visited a new laboratory equipped with modern industrial machines for working with knitted fabrics, and a digital fashion Studio.
Getting acquainted with the Competence Center and discussing the tasks facing it, Oleg Yevgenyevich casually asked about the annual number of graduates and emphasized that the concentration of forces and resources of the university through the creation of the Center should give the way to the training process and increase the popularity among young people of professions that are extremely necessary in the industry.
It is worth recalling that on this day O. E. Bocharov took part in a visiting meeting on measures of state support for the textile industry, chaired by the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Andrey Kutepov, with the participation of senators, President of Soyuzlegprom Andrey Razbrodin, Ivanovo Governor Stanislav Voskresensky and representatives of the business community of the Ivanovo and Vladimir regions.
