On April 15, the defense of projects prepared by Ivanovo schoolchildren - participants of the vocational guidance project "English as a Tool of a Successful Career" took place. The awards ceremony will take place on April 21, as part of the Polytech Week.
Let us remind you that the project was launched in February of this year at the initiative of the Department of Foreign Languages of the IVSPU with the participation of the Center for Career Guidance and Development "Perspective". A number of online meetings of teachers and students of the Polytechnic University with schoolchildren of the city of Ivanovo were supposed to support the interest of the children in learning a foreign language, and at the same time expand the knowledge of future applicants about the areas of training of the Polytechnic University related to architecture, economics, design of light industry products, standardization and metrology, expertise and management of real estate, social and cultural services and tourism.
The schoolchildren actively communicated in English, discussed the questions proposed by the presenters, took part in master classes, enthusiastically listened to the stories of senior students about different professions and employment prospects in their specialty, unforgettable student life and university studies.
