Ivanovo Polytechnic University presented the region at the Russian Textile and Light Industry Week
From March 1 to 4, the "Russian Textile and Light Industry Week" was held in Moscow for the seventh consecutive year. By tradition, the Ivanovo Polytechnic University also became a participant of the forum. At the leading exhibition site, representatives of the university were able not only to present the services of the industry Competence Center, but also to discuss the most pressing issues of the light industry.development.
So, on the first day of the forum, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the competition among textile designers EXTILE DESIGN TALENTS AWARD 2021, the finalist of which was Svetlana Sizova, a student of the Department of Costume Design and Textiles named after N. G. Mizonova. Students of the university visited two authoritative international specialized exhibitions " INTERTKAN-2021.Vesna" and "INLEGMASH", where they got acquainted with large-scale expositions of textile materials and modern equipment for the light industry.
Yevgeny Rumyantsev, the rector of Polytechnic University, together with representatives of relevant ministries and departments, the expert and business community, including the Deputy Chairman of the regional government, the head of the Economic Development Complex of the region Lyudmila Dmitrieva, took an active part in the discussion of key industry issues connected with new technologies, modernization of production facilities and efficiency of technological solutions, development of the domestic market of textile products and linen. The head of the Department of Sewing Products Design, Professor Viktor Kuzmichev and the head of the scientific and Educational Center Nadezhda Kornilova were invited speakers of the eventful business program. Anna Gorelova, Director of the University Small Innovative Enterprise "IIT Consulting", employees of the Engineering Center of the university and the basic department "Vent Market", headed by Director Sergey Pipkin, worked at the stand of the Polytechnic University.
The result of the work of our regional team was an up-to-date assessment of the current state and prospects for the development of the light industry during the coming period, the exchange of experience and, what is the most important, the establishment of new business contacts with leading manufacturers and suppliers of industrial equipment, components, ready – made and consumables, which have every chance to move into a mutually beneficial and long-term format.
