Participants of "LEGPROM WEEK-2021" will assess the state of the domestic market for bast raw materials
On March 2, within the framework of the Business Program "Russian Week of Textile and Light Industry", a round table "Practical ways of implementing projects for the processing of flax and hemp in modern conditions. Assessment of the state of the domestic market of bast raw materials ” takes place.
It is worth recalling that in 2020 a five-year comprehensive program of support for the production of linen products was launched, which covers the entire chain - from farms that grow flax to manufacturers of final products.
The program provides the annual subsidies for the production of flax-containing yarn and fabrics. Technological equipment for flax processing is included in the list of concessional lending. Flax-growing farms are provided with “per hectare” subsidies. During the upcoming discussion, representatives of the industry and government agencies will discuss the formation of a competitive and environmentally friendly linen industry in Russia.
