Textile Competence Center launches "Machine Embroidery" course
Students of the Polytechnic University will be able to study absolutely free of charge on a 36-hour pilot course and gain additional professional skills by mastering the equipment of the Training and Production Complex of the Competence Center of the Textile and Light Industry.
This was announced at a master class on machine embroidery, which was held on September 26 as part of the project #"Design of your future". Students of the Department of Sewing Products Design and Costume and Textile Design named after N.G. Mizonova watched with interest the work of the embroidery machine, carefully examined embroidery samples on various materials, asked questions of senior researcher Denis Miroshnichenko and student, young entrepreneur Ivan Kryzhanovsky.
All the examples and nuances of the equipment are supported by their real experience, which Denis, Ivan and another member of this team, student Egor Ponomarev are willing to share. Very soon the course "Machine embroidery" will start with real cases and maximum practice. The course participants will get acquainted with the technical part of the embroidery equipment, study the embroidery technology and learn how to work independently on designs in a special program.
Everyone can enroll in the course. The main thing is to contact the heads of departments and get on the list of listeners before October 10. The best will be selected for the Competence Center team.
In addition, our designers can participate in the traditional New Year's souvenir design contest. This year it will be a shopper with machine embroidery. The name of the winner, who took the main prize – a coupon for personalized embroidery on any item of clothing, will become known closer to December, and until that time, the Competence Center team will conduct new master classes and introduce students to the capabilities of modern industrial and laboratory equipment.
