Ivanovo Polytechnic University has started another project for the development and launch into production of fashionable clothing collections commissioned by Proteks LLC. The trips to the enterprises “Textile Company "Russian House" ”and“ Hightech LTD ”allowed us to look beyond the horizon of existing relations with regional business and outline new plans.

Both enterprises, visited by the university staff together with the rector Yevgeny Rumyantsev, are interested in developing partnerships with the Ivanovo Polytechnic University and the Competence Center for Textile and Light Industry operating on its basis. Russian House CEO Sergei Solyonov sees new opportunities in joint projects that promote the company on the market, as well as in training both workers and engineering personnel using targeted training tools, even beyond budget quotas. The company, specializing in the production of cotton and blended fabrics and actively developing the production of bed linen, home and workwear, is also ready to use the services of developing new patterns for fabrics and, of course, is interested in new samples of garments.

Sewing enterprise “Hi-tech. LTD ", which was also visited by the delegation of Ivanovo Polytechnic University , specializes in the production and sale of men's shirts. In 2016, the equipment park was completely renewed here, the assortment was expanded. Currently, the company produces branded products at the request of customers and produces shirts under its own trademarks "Hi-Tech" and "Nicolo Anji". The general director of the company Denis Ponomarev also associates business development with the expansion of the model range and the improvement of the quality of his products.

By the way, this type of activity of the Competence Center is becoming more and more in demand. Turning to the Ivanovo Polytechnic University, the company receives either the concept of a new satellite brand with its visualized solutions for clothing collections for various purposes and price categories, or it is offered a path of soft evolution of the existing brand. In both cases, with an emphasis on the aesthetics and trends of world fashion and a unique, creative design from students and graduates of the university, for whom this practice is the best way to plunge into the reality of production processes and find a job to their liking.

This is how work was organized with the Ivanovo companies “Knitting Factory“ Zarechye ”, which produces hosiery and linen knitwear, and“ TD “Viotex”. Both companies agreed with the experts' recommendations and decided to “try themselves” in the plus size women's clothing segment, which is still poorly represented on the market. More than twenty sketch collections of models of insulated outerwear for children, developed by students and undergraduates of the university, were received by the "Detline" company. In autumn, the collection of Lilia Sergeeva and Elizaveta Afanasyeva, recognized as the best in an impromptu creative competition, will be seen at the Tavrida art festival, in the Moscow Expocentre Fairgrounds and, of course, it will appear on store shelves and marketplace pages. Now in the work - collections for LLC "Detsky Boom", and the next customer and partner was the company "Protex".

The first meeting of the company's representative, by coincidence of the graduate student of the IVSPU Natalia Kapitanova, with the future students' team including analysts, print and clothing designers, designers, was held on May 28. Under the guidance of Natalia and experienced mentors of students - associate professor of the Department of Costume and Textile Design named after V.I. N.G. Mizonova Elena Maksimova, professor, head of the department of designing garments of Viktor Kuzmichev and associate professor of the department of materials science, commodity science, standardization and metrology Ekaterina Sotskova, the guys will analyze the market and fashion trends, following that they will offer the customer new models of youth, and most importantly fashionable and commercially successful clothes. And then they will spend all summer months on an internship at the company, getting acquainted with the intricacies of organizing garment production and studying the work of specialists working with the fashion segment on marketplaces. In many cases, such projects led to the fact that the company found "its" specialists. There is confidence, it will be so this time.
